At Hello Hills, we offer nature-based mentoring and learning programs for children of all ages.

Our programs provide a space where self driven learning is fostered. Children are empowered to connect deeply with nature, place, themselves, each other and all beings in our biological community!

Our Mission

Foster the social/emotional growth and wellbeing of each child in our program.

Facilitate a safe and creative container where social justice as well as equity in gender, race, class, neurodiversity & physical ability are upheld and respected.

Encourage children in healthy risk-taking that is informed and age-appropriate such as: climbing trees, getting muddy, becoming a hiking leader, exploring new spaces, balancing on a log, trying new things.

Empower each child to discover and share their unique self with the group.

Create a space in which children's uniqueness flourishes and every individual matters.

Generate respect, love and care for the earth, each other, ourselves and for all life.

At Hello Hills…

We are settlers on the unceded land of the Chochenyo Ohlone.

BLACK LIVES MATTER! Black lives are beautiful, sacred, cherished, loved.

We collectively strive to be a safe, accessible and thriving space for BIPOC.

We collectively strive to be a safe, accessible and thriving space for the LGBTQIA2S+ community and individuals of all gender identities.

Our education values are rooted in the practice of decolonization, multi-cultural awareness and weaving a strong fabric of love, equity and resilience in our community.

We are continually learning, practicing, acting, as allies.

Hello Hills and the dynamic sister/teacher team has been a gift for our family. Elena and Amelea are down to earth, loving, patient, funny, creative, knowledgeable, and have such a deep heart-centered connection with the children and nature. Their programs nurture the whole child, their body, mind, and soul.
